STOCKTON - In this News Flash, Caltrans emphasizes the need for long-term transportation funding since deferred maintenance and winter storm-related emergencies have taken their toll on the state highway system.
The stress placed on the highways by extreme weather continues to underline the need for stable sources of transportation funding to maintain California's aging roads.
