Caltrans is advising motorists to plan ahead for serious delays expected on U.S. Highway 50 over the Sacramento River, on the Pioneer Bridge, during the 55-hour weekend partial lane closure beginning on Friday, July 21 at 10 p.m.

The Pioneer Bridge is the main connector between Sacramento and Yolo counties over the Sacramento River. Caltrans urges the public to leave earlier for travel and allow up to 1-hour additional travel time to accommodate for delays, travel distances and detours. Additional information can be located at
